CELEBRATE and ACCELERATE ACTION
WOMEN'S HERSTORY MONTH 2025

Her-Story is an interactive 3-hour, in-company workshop event designed to celebrate and discover the narratives of powerful women, inspire personal action and build connections.

Through fun and interactive exercises, women will hone their storytelling skills, discover new role models and connect on another level with their fellow female co-workers.

The workshop emphasizes the importance of representation, supportive community and connects the women in your company. By the end, participants will leave not only inspired but also committed to tangible actions that foster personal growth and workplace equity in 2025.

Her-story: Which woman inspires you the most?

Susan B. Anthony? Kamala Harris? Edith Eger? Or perhaps your colleague or grandmother? This is the question, all participants will think about before attending the workshop.

Workshop set-up
We'll be the first to answer this question. We'll tel you the stories of the women that inspired us, through which we demonstrate the art of storytelling. Followed by ice-breakers and warming up activities, we offer a skill lesson in storytelling. Which elements contribute to a good story? And why are stories so important?

Creating Her-story
We support you to craft your own engaging and inspiring story. A story about an inspiring woman and the obstacles she has had to overcome. A woman that inspires you and that you can inspire others with. In different set-ups we exchange our stories, sharing inspiration, connecting with other women and practicing our public speaking skills.

Accelerate Action!
"What’s your main takeaway from your role model’s story that applies to your own career?" To maximize the impact of the workshop, participants will conclude by committing to one action for 2025 that aligns with their personal growth or the improvement for women in the workplace.
This will be shaped visually, creating a wall of actions.

Why celebrate Women's History Month?

The month of March is the time to honor the achievements of women, in the past and present, who have paved the way for future generations. So many women throughout history have broken barriers and fought for the rights that we have today.

This month is an opportunity to learn about those women: leaders, activists and pioneers who have worked hard to shape the world as we know it today. Women's History Month is the time to create awareness of their contributions, celebrate them and let us be inspired to take action ourselves.

For companies, this month is the time to invest in your female employees. It's a chance to reflect on the issues that continue in the present day, create spaces for meaningful conversations and take visible steps towards gender equity in the workplace. Let’s use this month as a reminder of the importance to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for women at work and beyond!

International Women's Day 2025: #AccelerateAction

On March 8, people worldwide will be celebrating International Women's Day. This year's theme is 'Accelerate Action'.

According to data from the World Economic Forum, it is going to take 5 more generations to reach full gender parity. To speed up this process, it is time for action! We decided to connect this theme to this year's Women's History Month - to plan a full month of action, connection and bringing women together!

With Female Speaking Berlin, we see it as our mission to contribute in accelerating this process. Through our trainings, we aim to empower women by teaching them public speaking skills. Skills that will help them to use their voice, speak up and share their ideas. Besides skills, we also focus on creating a supportive community within our trainings - because we need each other to accelerate change!
